ARIZONA Lease Agreement

Using This Site

By reading ArizonaLeaseAgreement.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. They apply to everything published here, including the county court pages.

The Information Is General

Everything here describes Arizona's residential lease rules in general terms. It is not legal advice and must not be used as a substitute for it. Reading this site creates no attorney-client relationship, and we are not a law firm.

Whether any rule applies to a particular arrangement depends on facts we cannot know. If a decision matters, take advice from a lawyer — and where the question turns on Arizona law specifically, from one licensed in Arizona.

Scope

This site covers the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act. It does not cover mobile home park tenancies, which fall under a separate Act, or commercial tenancies, which fall under different provisions again. Applying the rules described here to either would be a mistake.

Accuracy and Currency

We take care to describe the statute accurately and to check court information against the courts' own published details. We cannot guarantee that everything is current. Statutes are amended, courts consolidate and relocate, and hours change. Court details on this site were checked in August 2026.

Before relying on anything here for a filing, a notice or a deadline, confirm it. The consequences of a missed notice period or a filing in the wrong court fall on the person who made the filing.

This site links to Standard Legal, which sells lease forms, and to JustAnswer, which operates an independent legal question service. Both are separate companies. We do not control what they provide, what they charge, or how they perform.

Any contract you enter with either is between you and them, on their terms. We are not a party to it and cannot resolve a dispute arising from it. These are affiliate arrangements, described on the disclaimer.

Where we describe what a partner supplies, we describe what the partner states. That description is not a guarantee by us that the product suits your situation.

The Material on This Site

The text and page design are the property of Kaktus Productions. You are welcome to read it, print it for your own use, and link to it. Please do not republish it wholesale as your own.

Court addresses, statutory provisions and other public facts are, of course, nobody's property. Our particular assembly and wording of them is.

Availability

We make no promise that the site will always be reachable. Pages may be changed, corrected or removed without notice, which is usually a good thing where the alternative is leaving something wrong in place.

Limitation of Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the information here, from an inability to use the site, or from dealings with a linked partner.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Arizona.

Changes

Revised terms appear on this page when they change. Continuing to use the site after that indicates acceptance of them.
