The Short Version
This site is a set of articles. It does not have accounts, it does not sell anything directly, and it does not ask you to identify yourself in order to read it. The only information you give us is what you put in an email, if you choose to write to us.
What We Collect
If You Write to Us
We receive whatever you send — typically a name, an email address and a message. Writing to support@arizonaleaseagreement.com is the only way to reach us, and it goes to a mailbox we run rather than to a third-party form service. We use what you send to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Please do not send us confidential details about a tenancy dispute. We are not your lawyers, a message to us is not privileged, and we cannot advise you on your situation.
Analytics
We use Umami to count visits and see which pages get read. It is an open-source analytics tool chosen because of what it does not do: it sets no cookies, it does not follow you between sites, and it builds no advertising profile of you. What it records is the kind of thing a visit log holds anyway — the page, the referring site, roughly where in the world the request came from, and the type of device. We use it to find out which pages are useful, not to identify individuals, and it is not capable of the second thing.
It also runs on our own server rather than on an analytics company’s. So the counting happens in-house: no third party receives your visit, and nobody is being paid in data.
Four links on this site are counted the same way: the two lease form links and the two links to the legal question service. What gets recorded is that somebody clicked, not who. We count them because those links are how the site pays for itself, and without the count we would have no way of knowing whether any of it is useful to you.
Server Logs
The web server records ordinary request information — the page requested, the time, the browser type, and the IP address the request came from. This is standard for any website and is used for security and diagnosing faults.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not run advertising networks or behavioral advertising on this site.
- We do not require an account, and we do not store passwords, because there are none.
- We do not take payments. Nothing on this site collects card details.
When You Follow a Partner Link
Two companies are linked from this site: Standard Legal, which sells the lease forms, and JustAnswer, which operates the legal question service. Following one of those links takes you to their website, where their privacy policy applies rather than ours.
Those links carry a tracking parameter so the partner can attribute a referral to us. That parameter identifies this site, not you. Any purchase, account or payment happens entirely on the partner's side, and we never see your payment details.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Partner sites you visit by following a link may set their own, under their own policies.
Children
This site is written for adults dealing with leased property and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen.
Your Choices
If you have written to us and would like the message deleted, ask and we will delete it. If you would rather not be counted in analytics at all, most browsers and privacy extensions can block it, and the site works normally without it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page. Since the site collects so little, changes are likely to be rare.
