Graham County's Justice Court
Graham County now has a single justice court, at the county courthouse in Safford. It did not always. Precinct 2, in the Town of Pima, closed in 2023 and its work was combined into Precinct 1 under one Justice of the Peace.
That consolidation is recent enough that older directories still list a Pima court. If you find one, it is out of date -- everything goes to Safford now. Note also that the Gila Valley Consolidated Court in Safford is a municipal court and hears different matters. One thing this county makes easy: with a single justice court there is no precinct to work out. Wherever in Graham County the property sits, the case goes to Safford. In Maricopa County that question takes a lookup tool; here it takes none.
